Treatment Policies

1)  Skin Assessment & Treatment Adjustments

1.1 Our facial estheticians prioritise your skin's health. If your skin is assessed as broken, too damaged, or unsuitable for a specific treatment, the esthetician may decline to perform the treatment.

1.2 The estheticians may also adjust or modify the treatment plan to better suit your skin's current condition.

2) Facial Treatment Effects & Post-Care Guidelines

2.1 Purging: Facials and Hydrafacial treatments may cause "purging," a temporary increase in breakouts in areas where you typically experience them. This effect should not last longer than one month.

2.2 Bruising: Hydrafacials can occasionally lead to minor bruising due to the suction tool used during the treatment.

2.3 Post-Treatment Care: We recommend avoiding the introduction of new skincare products into your routine for up to two weeks following your Facial or Hydrafacial.

2.4 Special Occasion Planning: If you’re getting a Facial or Hydrafacial for a special event, we advise scheduling the treatment at least 3-4 weeks in advance to allow time for any potential purging to subside.

3) Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Suitability of Facials

3.1 Our Korean Deluxe & Platinum Hydrafacials are NOT pregnancy-safe and are not suitable for breastfeeding mothers.

3.2 Our Signature Korean Glass Skin Facial is not pregnancy-safe. However, it is safe for breastfeeding mothers.

4) Recent Skin Treatments

4.1 We reserve the right to deny the performance of skin treatment if you have undergone invasive skin treatments (such as laser therapy, chemical peels, microneedling, dermabrasion, dermaplaning, botox/filler) within the last three months.

5) Facial Treatment Medical Disclosure

5.1 If you have any medical conditions that may contraindicate the facial treatment, we reserve the right to deny the procedure if deemed unsafe or unsuitable for your health.

5.2  It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they provide Seoul Thai Therapy Ltd with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. Seoul Thai Therapy Ltd will not be liable for any damage resulting from the client’s failure to disclose such information.

6) Limitations of Facial Treatments

6.1 Please be aware that our Facial and Hydrafacial treatments do not claim to fix or cure any medical skin conditions but can improve the visible appearance of the skin (e.g., visibly brighten & even skin tone and texture).

7). Massage Treatment Medical Disclosure

7.1 You must disclose any and all medical conditions and medications prior to your treatment. If you are having a face-to-face consultation, please ensure this information is provided at the beginning of your session.

7.2 Based on the assessment of your medical conditions, we reserve the right to deny treatment if it is deemed unsuitable for your current medical status.

8) Post Massage Treatment Discomfort

8.1 You understand that minor bruising or swelling may occur after a massage, potentially lasting for up to three days. If you experience further discomfort, seek immediate professional medical advice.

9) Pregnancy and Massage Treatments

9.1 We offer pregnancy massage treatments specifically designed for the well-being of expectant mothers. These treatments are available to prenatal women in their 2nd trimester (12 weeks onward), breastfeeding mothers in the postpartum period, and those 6 months post-C-section.

9.2 Before scheduling an appointment with us for a pregnancy massage, it is essential to consult and obtain consent from your midwife or healthcare assistant. Your safety and comfort during the treatment are of utmost importance to us, and this consultation helps ensure that the massage is appropriate and beneficial for your unique circumstances. You can learn more about our pregnancy massage treatments on our website.

9.3 None of our Facial Massage treatments, including our combined Facial and Body massage treatments, are suitable for pregnant mothers.

10) Liability

10.1 We are not liable for any adverse or ineffective treatment results, advice or recommended products.

10.2 You hereby release Seoul Thai Therapy Ltd. from any liability related to injury and rehabilitation arising from your treatment.

10.3 Seoul Thai Therapy Ltd will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

10.4 Our services are not intended to replace professional medical advice or care. If you have medical concerns, please consult a licensed GP, dermatologist or relevant healthcare professional.
